Which tyres should I go for?
After slipping in the wet I've decided to get new tyres for my road race bike. Does anyone have any suggestions of which ones to go for (ideal for rides around the roads of St Neots and beyond)?
Thanks
Steve

Tyres
I just got some Continentals, got a tread on them and not super skinny but feel good, and puncture resistant allegedly. I'm defo no pro but give me plenty of confidence Wet or Dry

I too have continentals - started with continental gatorskins then bought some GP 4 seasons - the gatorskins lasted 2 years with no punctures and were good in all weathers. They cost about £23 off wiggle website and i would highly recommend them. I dont get excited when it comes to rolling resistance and high tyre pressures and slim profile tyres etc as they make bugger all difference to my performance yet - still other areas i can improve on.

Thanks for your suggestions. I was looking at the GP Continentals around the £20-£25 mark, so you've both confirmed it.
Jez - also, I've fitted the tribars and they work really well. I owe you copious pint-age at the next social! I'll let you know when I'm free next for the cycle/swim/cycle session we were talking about.
Thanks lads
